About the artist
Tatyanna (TAT) is a multidisciplinary artist whose passion for creating has been a lifelong pursuit. Art has been a meaningful part of her journey since a very early age, and by nine she started developing her skills through reference-based drawing; building a foundation in technique.
In her twenties, she began producing and selling commissioned graphite portraits, establishing a dedicated studio practice that has continued to evolve over time. Working across multiple mediums including digital art, watercolor, and charcoal, she explores ideas through experimentation, allowing each medium to shape her creative process in different ways.
Today, oil paint is her primary medium, valued for its ability to capture depth and emotional nuance. Her work draws upon contemporary interpretations of Impressionism and Expressionism, where expressive mark-making meets careful observation.
Artist Statement
My work explores the reality that exists beneath everyday life. Through painting, I want to capture something not easily defined: a feeling, presence, or moment of recognition that connects us as human beings.
Each piece is approached intuitively, allowing the process itself to guide the work. Rather than focusing on a fixed outcome, I remain open to discovery, responding to the internal shifts that emerge while painting.
I am drawn to the connection between what can be seen and what can be felt, where meaning is sensed rather than explained.
Through my work, I hope to create moments that invite viewers to connect with something difficult to articulate; something shared across the human experience that often goes unspoken.
